Wandererings at Heuston and Portarlington.

Major engineering works are being carried out at Portarlington on Saturday night with the new down platform coming into use and track slewing. The Wanderer was on hand to record the last train to use the old down platform. Portarlington will never be the same again.

The 2nd week of September

Monday was somewhat a hauled push/pull day with the 6102 set having at least 2 hauled turns, one to Portlaoise and the other to Thurles.

Other weekly wandererings include:

- An Thursday afternoon Co. Kildare grice.

- Portarlington upgrade latest.

- Evening at Cherryville.

The 3rd week of September has photos this week from Connolly, Heuston, Portarlington, Thurles, Killarney and Cork.

The 4th week of September has photos this week from Connolly, Heuston, Portarlington and Cork.

On Thursday 27th 22004 operated a Gauging trial between Greystones and Rosslare, departing Connolly at 0930. Also on Thursday, due to operational problems, MK4 set 4002 operated as a 6 car set instead of the normal 8 vehicles.
