Pictures taken onboard EI-DUZ on EI108 from JFK as the aircraft flew over Ireland.

A couple of hours spent in Co. Kildare to photograph the 0815 and 1105 Ballina - North Wall IWT's, plus the usual MKIV's and ICR's.

A trip to Gormanston to photograph the evening Tara Mines trains.

Monday 13.08.12
A trip to Clara to photograph the IWT liners. All services through Clara today were delayed due to a signal failure caused by a lightening strike this morning.

Images of the refreshed Premier Class interior of 22033. The remaining 9 members of the sub-class will be dealt with over the coming months.

A busy day today travelling through the counties of Laois, Offaly, Tipperary, Kildare, Carlow and Kilkenny to photograph two different Special Trains. The first was the 0910 Birdhill - Heuston G.A.A. Special which was operated by 22016 and was photographed at several different locations on the Nenagh Branch. After that arrived at Ballybrophy it was a drive to Athy to visit the Tegral Branch and await the arrival of the RPSI Special from Connolly to Kilkenny. Tues 21.08.12:
226 on the IWT Liner at North Wall and LUAS 4002 at the Point Depot.
Wed 22.08.12
The additional Wednesday only IWT liner hauled by 071 failed at Geashill Loop this afternoon. 088 was dispatched from Inchicore to rescue the failed train and it departed Geashill Loop at 1815 and hauled the complete train throughout to North Wall.
The Sperry Train with 079 is also stabled in Portarlington for the night during its journey from Waterford to Westport (via Kildare).
