A visit to Monastervin Station on New Year's Day.

Friday 3rd January 2014:
22051 and lone vehicle 22434 pictured from the public road near Laois Train Care Depot.

Saturday 4th January 2014:
A wander to several locations around the Portarlington area. There had been great plans for today with a 1100 Westport - Waterford Timber service scheduled to operate but 079 failed before departure in Westport.
The Timber eventually departed four hours late with 077 and I managed to get some pictures of it in Kildare.

Sunday 05th January 2014:
Some pictures from a day trip to Limerick and the Western Rail Corridor to Oranmore. I had planned to go to Galway but late running due to signal fault at Longpavement L.C. scuppered that plan.

Monday 6th January 2014:
232 was stabled at Laois Depot since the Saturday evening after it failed.

Tuesday 7th January 2014:
Visit to Monastervin.

Wednesday 9th January 2014:
Lunchtime trip to Killarney with pictures from Portlaoise, Limerick Jct., Mallow & Killarney.

Photos from Killarney and XT150 between Farranfore and Tralee.

Saturday 11th January 2014:
Saturday 11th January 2014 was nice and sunny so I ventured out for a few photographs in the Portarlington area. The highlight being 085 on the Steel Train from Waterford to Portlaoise.

Sunday 12th January 2014:
22040 undertook a trial trip from Dundalk to Belfast for tests over the Bearing Acoustic Monitor at Adelaide. It also went into Great Victoria Street to turn the set.

Monday 13th January 2014:
Today saw the final passenger run of a 6 car 22000 Class unit. 22040 was pictured at Portlaoise after arriving with the 1810 Heuston - Portlaoise. Photos of 222 and 22063 at Portlaoise also.

Friday 17th January 2014:
Pictures from Thurles, Cork, Mallow, Rathmore & Killarney. Includes pictures of platform 1 and 2 minus the canopy at Cork.

Sunday 19th January 2014:
A few photos from Killeen, near Killarney and at Rathmore while travelling back to Laois.

Monday 20th & Tuesday 21st January 2014:
I had to head back to Kerry on Monday evening and back early the following day so a couple of pictures from Limerick Jct., Mallow, Rathmore & Killarney.

Thursday 23rd January 2014:
Just two pictures from Heuston Station in the early evening.

Saturday 25th January 2014:
It was an early start this morning to chase the 0945 Limerick Jct. - Waterford which was formed of 4ICR 22011. I managed to photograph it at:
- Limerick Jct.
- Tipperary.
- Cahir.
- Clonmel.
- Ballinderry.
- Fiddown.
- Gouldings LC at Waterford West.
- Waterford.

While services over the South Tipp line are diagrammed for 4ICR, as the set workings are tied in with Dublin - Waterford, Dublin - Galway and Dublin - Cork services I understand when the revised fleet reformations are complete (10 less 4ICR'S and 10 extra 3ICR's) and new set workings are introduced, more suitable 3ICR's will be provided for the route.

Today also includes some pictures from Newtown Bridge, north of Limerick Jct. for 22055 on the 0855 Limerick - Heuston & 22023 0800 Heuston - Cork, plus 081 stabled at Limerick Jct. with Autoballasters.

Tuesday 28th January 2014:
