Iarnrod Eireann moved another 6 Mark 3 carriages from Dundalk to Belfast Adalaide Depot for scrapping. The consist was 7102 + 7147 + 7166 + 7406 + 7115 + 7615 and was hauled by 228. After the movement, a visit was paid to the Downpatrick & County Down Railway. Click here for the Downpatrick photos.

VIDEO:
A private charter operated on Tuesday 1st July for Irish Distillers from Dublin to Cork using MKIV Set 4007 and hauled by 223. It departed from Heuston at 1220 and is pictured passing Rosskelton 56 & 1/2 miles into its 165 1/4 mile journey. The train later returned from Cork to Heuston to form the 1900 Heuston - Cork service. Tues 01.07.14
