Iarnrod Eireann moved another 6 Mark 3 carriages from Dundalk to Belfast Adalaide Depot for scrapping. The consist was 7102 + 7147 + 7166 + 7406 + 7115 + 7615 and was hauled by 228. After the movement, a visit was paid to the Downpatrick & County Down Railway. Click here for the Downpatrick photos.

The 1600 Heuston - Cork was increased from 4ICR to 8ICR today (using the 4ICR released off the 1500 Heuston -Cork) to cater for expected heavy demand on the 1920 Cork - Heuston due to the Munster Hurling Final in Cork. 22015 + 22027 pass Lisduff heading to the 2nd City of Ireland. Sun 13.07.14
