April 2020
The April Gallery.
Friday 10th April 2020:
Two images of a trainless Nenagh Station while I was walking past the station earlier today.
With the COVID19 Pandemic travel restrictions extended today until at least Tuesday 5th May, it looks like this will be my only update of new pictures for the month of April.
NOTE: Pictures was taken while walking to a convenience store to purchase essential items and I also abided to the 2km daily exercise limit imposed by the Government of Ireland. Stay safe everyone and hopefully we be back on the rails before we know it.
Wednesday 15th April 2020:
Nenagh saw a train today for the first time in two weeks when 079 hauled a ballast train through the station while on a circular trip from Lisduff to drop ballast at the 2MP on the Nenagh Branch. The train returned to Lisduff via Limerick and Thurles.

Monday 20th April 2020:
The stored Dynamic Track Stabiliser No. 710 was moved from Cork to Portlaoise by 231 after spending about 5 years in storage at Cork Shed. It's future use is of yet unknown.

The Dynamic Track Stabiliser No. 710 which has been in storage at Cork Shed since August 2014 was moved to Portlaoise PWD Yard on Monday 20th April 2020. The movement left Cork at 1050 and was restricted to 25mph with frequent stops for examination purposes enroute to Portlaoise. 231 and 710 are seen at Clonkeen, outside Portlaoise with the 1050 Cork - Portlaoise PWD Yard, running 1 hour and 55 minutes early at this stage. NOTE: Picture was taken while travelling for work purposes.
