January 2021
The January 2021 gallery.
Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th January 2021:
A late start to the January gallery due to the new national lockdown, which has meant travel has been non-existent.
So to start off the January gallery we have images from Nenagh Station on the final two days of the branch service before the service suspension takes place due to the introduction of the COVID19 emergency timetable.
Friday 29th January 2021:
I had to take an essential trip to Cork on Friday 29th January so a selection of images from:
* Limerick, featuring the new station departures board.
* Limerick Jct.
* Cork, includes images of the new Horgan's Quay development on former railway land next to the railway station.
* Later that evening in Limerick and Nenagh, pictures of the final northbound X12 working from Limerick to Dublin Airport at 1745.

A revised timetable will be introduced on Iarnrod Eireann services from Monday 11th January due to the continuing COVID19 pandemic. Like the previous COVID19 emergency timetable the lesser used lines between Waterford and Limerick Jct. and Limerick - Ballybrophy once again see their services suspended.
The final train on the Nenagh Branch was the 1950 Ballybrophy - Limerick and is seen at Nenagh with 2815 + 2816. The previous service suspension lasted for six months. Lets hope this one doesn't last as long. Sun 10.01.21
