Friday 3rd June 2022:
A lunchtime visit to the Curragh to photo the special 1010 Waterford - Inchicore Container Pocket Wagon transfer and then later in the day we see 2614 + 2617 leaving Laois Train Care Depot for Cork.
Saturday 3rd June 2022:
A view of the ongoing upgrade work to the Nenagh Branch Line between Roscrea and Cloughjordan and a visit to Portumna on the River Shannon.
Sunday 5th June 2022:
A visit to Limerick on Sunday evening and a trip to Ennis on a 4ICR 22012 which was an unusual working as normally only 3ICR sets can work over the route.
Monday 6th June 2022:
Pictures from various places between Clara and Athlone areas featuring the laden Timber from Ballina to Waterford and the XPO Liner in the other direction.
Thursday 9th June 2022:
A few images at Portlaoise and Cork while heading down to the city for a night.
Friday 10th June 2022:
Pictures from Cork and Cobh. The Cobh line was running a special 2 train per hour off peak service on thisd day for the visit of the Norwegian Star Cruise Ship to the town. Later in the day a chance visit to Garrykennedy on the shores of Lough Derg, saw the local pub on fire!
Saturday 11th April:
An early start with the 0430 bus from nenagh to Dublin to travel on the RPSI Shades of Grey Railtour (see railtour section). Photos from the day come from Heuston, Connolly, Inchicore, Portarlington, Ballybrophy, Limerick Jct., Mallow and Rathmore.
Tuesday 14th June:
A visit to Malahide Castle for The Killers concert and some pictures of the DART special back to the city. It was reported that IE moved 15,000 people over a 90 minute period on 12 fully laden trains after the concerts on the Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
