2012: A Year in Review - The Wanderer's Photos
After my jaunt to Cork the previous day behind 216 on the 1100 Heuston - Cork, it later got into difficulties on the 1800 Heuston - Cork where it was terminated at Mallow some 60 minutes late. Passengers were transferred to the following 1900 service.

The next day 219 stabled at Cork was used to bring the failed Belmond liveried locomotive back to Inchicore for repairs. 223 operated Inchicore - Cork to replace 219 and it would later work the 1625 Cork - Heuston.
219 + 216 are pictured later on at Clonkeen with the 0955 Cork - Inchicore L.E. transfer. Wed 03.01.18
