IRRS Special to Waterford & Limerick.
On Saturday 19th July the Irish Railway Record Society operated their Annual Railtour.
For 2014, the tour operated from Dublin Connolly to Waterford, then across to Limerick before returning to Dubin Connolly via the Nenagh Branch.
3 x 071 Class Locomotives were used during the day with 078 hauling the tour to Waterford. At Waterford, 079 was provided for the run across the South Tipp line to Limerick. Finally, Limerick provided 074 for the jaunt over the Nenagh Branch and the run back to Dublin on the mainline.
